Process

Michaela’s goal is to make people and families fall in love with and function better in their living space, no matter how big or small the renovation, because many of life's most beautiful moments happen inside our homes. We try to make our design process simple and enjoyable. We believe good design has the potential to positively affect you and your family’s lifestyle. Here’s how it works:

Inquire, tell us all about your design project, and get your questions answered.

Sign the contract and secure payment.

We set up a consultation in person or via Skype so we can better get to know your needs and wants.

You fill out our design questionnaire and send us inspiration pictures, so we have an all-encompassing idea of your style.

We create an inspiration board for your space based on your style and needs. You give us feedback, then we work to refine it to your liking. If this is the Inspiration Board package, you get two revisions of the inspiration board and all the sources to the items found on the board, to make shopping easy.

If this is an In-Home Full Service Design, we will gather measurements and draw out the floor plans in AutoCAD, to ensure each piece we propose fits to a T. From there we will propose specific items of furniture and accessories to you that will help complete your room. If we're working on a custom, or new-build home, I will take you to showrooms to select materials from flooring, kitchen cabinets, tile, fireplace stone, and more. We will work together on every aspect of the design to ensure a beautiful home!

Once items are purchased, we love to aid in styling and finishing the room off to perfection.

You get to enjoy your newly designed, beautiful home!

What makes Michaela Noelle DesignS unique?

Achieving a one-of-a-kind look for our clients is always our goal. Because of this, we love choosing designer textiles to create a color story filled with unique patterns and textures, completely custom to you. Each of our clients enjoy custom pillows, bench cushions, draperies and other linens for their home made by our talented seamstress, who just so happens to be Michaela's grandmother. Belinda Warner has worked as an interior designer for her long career in the Los Angeles, San Francisco and Tahoe areas of California. As Michaela's continued inspiration, Belinda has helped shape Michaela's love for design and beauty. An extremely talented seamstress, Belinda has made her own client's textiles for the majority of her design career. Together, they love creating custom looks for their clients to enjoy for years to come.
